The Obamas visited the White House today
for the first time as President and First Lady Elect.
Witnessing he and Michelle standing there
sophisticated and radiant next to the Bushes
on the front lawn was breathtaking.
I am still wrapping my head around this victory.
I often catch myself just smiling and shaking my head in awe.
And saying quietly to myself 'Barack Obama is the President'.
Obama looked so cool. He walked with a purpose.
He looked like he was supposed to be there.
And seeing his brown skin against that White House
was poetic.
