I will not be watching news coverage on election day.
I remember back in 2000. I went to sleep and Gore was the President.
I woke up and he wasn't and for 6 weeks after that we had no President.
My heart was more than broken. And I can't experience that again.
I'll be watching mindless t.v.
Hopefully there'll be a 'Charm School' marathon on VH1.
I'll go to bed and wake up and
prayerfully Obama will be our man.
I don't know if my heart will be able to contain
the emotion inside me that day.
I well up thinking about it.
